‘potted plastic flowers              circulate

overturn the dancers in their rite of passage -

they could not swing away

nor leap forward

only flick the surface

the seething surface

to superimpose

their stainless steel legs with precision

pulsing against fragments           gadgets hyperfunction

scan the interior layers of the circuit

cut away short range signals

smashing into an opaque stripe in the grid’

‘without warning pigment floods the grade

movement flickers           pulverized’

it is sweltering in there ...........
