The music's grand nice and steady

On the floor the dancers ready

A little twinge of anticipation

For the connemara set' s elation.

The floor does pound to mighty sound

As the dancers dance round and round

As furious stimulating reels

Fires up bodies and batters heels.

The second figure nows your chance

To toss your toes and do your prance

At your opposite sneak a glance

As you round the floor to furious dance.

There's magic in the dancers feet

Advance retreat advance retreat

In the little christmas you're rotating

And from the floor you're elevating

The soothing polkas you appreciate

As from strenuous reels you recuperate

As around the set you gently gyrate

You're heard to state was 'nt that great.
