Dance events

(1)     Hot Water Event

Participants jump into a kettle of hot water & then run & dance where they please.

(2)     Fish Event

Four or five men lie down & imitate a fish out of water.

(3)     Half-Man Event

They paint one-half their bodies with white clay & the other half black to represent a man split in two front & rear.

(4)     Moon Event

A man & woman cut themselves & cry & dance for five days fasting.  They cut through the skin of the breast & tie in a string.  They tie the string to the top of the lodge, the man facing the woman.

(5)     Horse Event

Putting boughs on the head.  Men & women cut willows or boughs & trim their horses' heads & their own.  They tie up the horses in one place & then the men dance around them.
